Say Good Bye To Winter Skin with Lush Rub Rub Rub Scrub | Review

Sydney siders rejoice! Winter's over and the sun is out again. Summer's just around the corner so it's time to prep our skin for those tanks and dresses. If you've been keeping up with your skin care throughout winter - well done! - the transition in between winter to spring won't be such a shock to your skin, but if you've been hiding under trackies and cardies all winter long, fear not because there's a simple solution for sexy summer skin (maxed out on the alliteration).

I love scrubs. They're simple, affordable and effective. My current favourite is Lush's Rub Rub Rub Scrub. Like all of Lush's products, this scrub contains natural ingredients that are suitable for sensitive skin. This can be used before showering for a deeper scrub or in the shower for gentler exfoliation. Although the granules aren't refined, this scrub won't tear into your skin or cause abrasions. If you want to take extra precautions however, I recommend you use it in the shower. Don't be put off by the scrubs colour, it won't tint your skin and leave you looking like a Smurf. It also smells so lovely and fresh with the lemon and mimosa blossom scent. It leaves a light pleasant layer on the skin. The scrub dissolves in water so don't worry about it plugging up your shower drain.

The Rub Rub Rub scrub is available from Lush stores and retails for AUD$12.95. It's packaged with 330g of product in a recyclable black tub with instructions for usage and ingredients on the label. It also has a handy expiration label so you don't have to second guess when to throw it out.

Have you tried any the Rub Rub Rub scrub before? What's your favourite body scrub?
