Do-It-Yourself Bling Phone & Kabuki Brush

I'm not a very crafty kind of girl so DIYS aren't really my forte, but as I was browsing the craft section of my local dollar store for note books I came across a pack of diamante stickers and I thought I'd try my hand at blinging up some of my favourite things. I decided to apply decals on my clear mobile phone case and also my kabuki handle brush. The decals cost me less than AUD$4.00 a pack and the whole thing took less than 40 minutes. Blinging up my phone took up the bulk of the time. All in all it was a fun and easy arvo activity. The decals didn't end up sticking well on my mobile phone because it caught on to things in my hand bag. I suggest using hot glue before applying the decals for a better hold.

  1. I'm not really a big DIY person but this is too cute! And imagining you patiently gluing each piece for 40 minutes makes me really happy for some reason! Haha, much love <3

    1. Hehe me too! I've never been in to arts and crafts except for the super easy stuff. Remember the show Art Attack? (I think it was from the US) I was such in awe of all the things he used to make.

Haha I almost gave up. It took ages! Meanwhile I bought a bling cover recently on eBay for less than $7.00 including postage..No more blinging up a phone cover for me, but I admit the one I made feels more 'special' xox

  2. I hate crafts, because I'm not very meticulous! Haha... That looks really good, though!
